Theme: THE DEGRADATION OF WETLANDS AND ITS SOCIO ECONOMIC AND ENVIRONMENTAL IMPLICATIONS IN NDOP CENTRAL SUBDIVISION, NORTH WEST PROVINCE CAMEROON

Under the U.NV.D.A’s influence, several rice plots were developed and several actors became involved in rice cultivation on the wetlands. Table 17 contains information on the evolution of the number of farmers who became involved in rice cultivation between 1977 and 2005.
