1.8.2.6 Change in water quality:
Water analysis was made at the laboratory of the U.N.V.D.A to find out the turbidity of water samples. A litter each of water was collected at upstream and down stream of a tributary of river Nun in Bamunka before and after crossing the wetlands. Each sample was divided into four equal proportions. One sample of each was boiled in a porcelain crucible to drying point. The weight of the sample’s residue was taken on an electronic balance. This weight was multiplied by four in order to obtain the turbidity for each litter.
