The situation in 2007, if different from 2002 only shows slight differences given that within the last 5 years no very remarkable activity was carried out in this region. Generally the tendency of wetland degradation in this area appears to be taking an upward trend. Figure 9 is a representation of a combination of changes experienced in this region over the earlier mentioned periods from 1963 to 2002.
Changes experienced by the wetlands of Ndop Central Subdivision have seriously influenced the natural milieu of the region. In several areas where these wetlands still exist, diverse transformations have occurred on their fauna and flora diversity.
